What do I Need to Get Started with Klubfunder
Before registering your club on Klubfunder, here is a quick checklist of what you will need.
Most items are simple basics — Stripe and bank details are only required if you want to take payments immediately.
✅ Klubfunder Registration Checklist
1. Administrator Login (Required)
Every club needs one administrator email address to set up the account.
You can register using:
- A regular email address
- Microsoft login (optional)
- Google/Gmail login (optional)
This email will become the club admin login.
Signing in with a Microsoft Account
You can choose to register using your Microsoft account, including:
- Personal Microsoft accounts (
@outlook.com,@hotmail.com,@live.com) - Microsoft 365 work or school accounts
This provides a quick and secure login method without needing a separate Klubfunder password.
Signing in with Google
You can also register using your Google account, such as:
@gmail.com- Any organisation-managed Google Workspace account
Google login offers a fast and convenient way to access Klubfunder using an account you already use daily.
2. Basic Club Details (Required)
Have the following simple information ready:
- Club name
- Club chairman\representative
- Club representative contact number
- Club location
This is all you need to create the club.
3. Membership Plan Options (Choose One)
Option A — Pay As You Go (No Financial Details Needed)
- No bank details required
- Comes with 50 free credits to get started
- Perfect for trying Klubfunder features without commitment
Option B — Purchase a Plan (Requires Club Bank Account)
If purchasing a subscription plan, you will need:
- Club bank account details
This is used to set up a GoCardless Direct Debit for plan payments.
4. Taking Payments From Members or Supporters (Optional)
If you want to collect payments immediately, you must set up a Stripe account.
Stripe enables:
- Membership payments
- Lotto sales
- Ticket sales
- Event registration
- Donations
WARNING
Without Stripe, you can still explore Klubfunder and set everything up
but you cannot receive payments until Stripe is connected.
What You'll Need for Stripe Setup
- Club bank account (for payouts)
- A verified club representative (name, address, date of birth, photo ID)
