Recurring Payments (Ongoing) Core Plan +
A recurring payment is an ongoing charge that continues at regular intervals (for example, monthly or annually) with no predefined end date. Payments will continue to be collected until the subscription is cancelled. This is commonly used for memberships, subscriptions, or standing charges.
Examples of Recurring Payments
The following are examples of Klubfunder services where these types of payments are commonly used.
Lotto auto-renew payments
Lotto auto-renew payments allow a participant’s lotto entry to be renewed automatically for each draw period. The payment is taken at regular intervals to ensure the entry remains active, so the participant is included in every draw without needing to re-enter each time. Auto-renew continues until the participant chooses to cancel, helping avoid missed draws and keeping entries consistent from one period to the next.
Recurring 50-50 draws
A recurring draw is a regular cash prize draw where half of the sales taken is set aside for the prizes. Members are included in each scheduled draw (for example, weekly or monthly) while their entry remains active.
Recurring membership fees
Recurring membership fees are ongoing payments taken at regular intervals to keep a membership active, and continue until the membership is cancelled.
Fixed-entry recurring draws
(e.g. 100 Club, 200 Club, 500 Club)
A fixed-entry recurring draw is a regular prize draw with a set maximum number of participants. Members purchase a numbered entry and are included in each scheduled draw (for example, weekly or monthly) while their entry remains active. Each draw is run from the same pool of participants, and winners are selected at regular intervals according to the draw schedule.
